Floor hatch for tiles BAULuke G80x90P

The BAULUKE Series G floor access hatch with gas springs is designed to provide access to utility systems located in rooms below floor level. The manufacturing technology of BAULUKE Series G steel floor hatches reliably ensures their durability and corrosion resistance, guaranteeing the safety of utility networks as well as safe operation.

Main characteristics:

• Hatch frame: steel angle 40 mm x 40 mm, 3 mm thick;

• Hatch cover: metal profile 40 mm x 20 mm, equipped as standard with floor gypsum board (for dry rooms under tiles or porcelain stoneware) or optionally can be fitted with:

  • Moisture-resistant plywood (for linoleum and vinyl)

  • OSB board (for laminate and parquet)

  • FARMACELL moisture-resistant fiber-reinforced gypsum board (for damp and humid rooms under any floor coverings)

• Rubber seal: around the perimeter of the hatch cover (on all 4 sides!), providing enhanced protection against moisture, dust, and noise;

• Latch-lock (high-quality, reliable lock): secures the product cover to the frame;

• Gas struts: facilitate the opening of the hatch;

• Load capacity on the product cover up to 1 ton, depending on the hatch size and covering;

• Anti-corrosion polymer zinc coating: prevents structure oxidation even in rooms with high humidity.

The opening size must be 2–3 mm larger than the installation size of the hatch frame. The hatch frame is fixed to the opening using screws and dowels, for which mounting holes are provided in the frame. The hatch is installed before laying the main floor covering. The invisible floor hatch cover allows for all existing floor coverings up to 15 mm thick to be fixed to it — tiles, laminate, parquet, porcelain stoneware, and other finishes. Thanks to the gas springs, an automatic hatch opening effect is created. The hatch opens to 88 degrees using a key-handle and locks with a latch.

1. Floor hatch dimensions are indicated as the installation/fitting size;

2. The index "P" in the floor hatch size indicates the side where the hinges connecting the hatch cover to the frame are located.
